Here we will collect the descriptions of all smaller, auxiliary classes and packages.

2 Music XML

Music XML is an open standard, but copy-righted by a company called MakeMusic, Inc., as can be read in the according license text.

Beside other standardized formats, it is frequently employed for exchanging musical data between different applications.

In the context of bandm MoM it is represented as a tdom model.

For a first orientation we offer two rendered dtd versions:

1. musicXml_rendered_dtd.html, which allows to navigate through the full, original text of the dtd.
2. musicXml_expanded_dtd.html, which eliminates all entities and shows only the expanded declarations really necessary for data definition.
3. The file musicXml_compact_dtd.text, is very similar, but is a pure text file for further automated processing.

Both html files have been created with the bandm dtd tool, as described in the metatools documentation.
